    Bio

     

    Conor Horgan began his career as a photographer, then directed over 70 TV commercials and pop videos before moving on to write and direct drama and documentary films. Conor was a member of the SDGI Board between May 2007 and 2014.

     

    Conor’s first feature film One Hundred Mornings received its US premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival in January 2010. One Hundred Mornings was released across Ireland in May 2011, and was described as “one of the very best Irish feature films of the last decade” by the Irish Times. His first feature documentary,“The Queen of Ireland”, was released in October 2015 to critical acclaim and went on to beat the box-office record for the best opening weekend for an Irish documentary. Conor is represented by Richard Cook at Lisa Richards.
