Adrienne Michel-Long works as a film director and writer. She has directed two short films. Her first was an RTÉ and Irish Film Board Short Cuts International award winning short film, which was called Bye Bye Inkhead (2001).

Luka (2004), her second award winning short film which she also wrote, was an Irish Film Board funded “Short Short”. Before Film, she worked in advertising as an art director for 11 years. She worked for two of Ireland’s top agencies, Arks Advertising (now Euro RSCG) and Irish International. During those years as an art director, she won many accolades and awards. These included gold and silver ICAD awards for her work on accounts such as Brown Thomas and Bank of Ireland.

In the beginning of 1995 she worked for six months as an assistant art director for Neil Jordan on his film Michael Collins. She has also directed music and corporate videos. From 1996 she worked as a commercials Director for accounts such as Mitsubishi cars, Bank of Ireland, and Bulmers Cider.

In 2005 Adrienne’s script Take Tim was selected for the Moonstone International Screenwriter’s Lab. She attended the lab in 2007.

Recently Adrienne has set up Siva Films, and has been working on film development. She is working on 2 feature films, called Take Tim and Lethal Harvest. She is presently in development with Parallel Films working on a 3-part Television Drama called Handel and Susannah. Adrienne is also in development on a 1 hour drama for television called A is for Agatha.
