By choosing to support the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland (SDGI) you will be supporting Irish Directors whose creativity is the cohesive element of the film, television, animation, commercial & video art industries.
Becoming a ‘friend’ of the SDGI entitles you to a range of benefits. The benefits are designed to acknowledge your support in a way that will keep you informed about the work of the Guild and on Irish screen directors.
You will receive the relevant list of benefits outlined on the SDGI website or in the Friends welcome pack issued once membership of confirmed.
Terms
- The benefits outlined in the information received from the SDGI either via the website or in the post once membership of the scheme is confirmed
- Friends will be sent a calendar of events and details of product promotion opportunities (if applicable)
- Friends will be informed of any changes to their list of benefits by email as soon as changes have been confirmed by the SDGI
- Friends will receive two ‘Friends Newsletter’s per annum
- Information relating to this scheme will be stored on a SDGI database in line with Data Protection guidelines
- Acknowledgements will consist of the inclusion of a logo1 and on a ‘Friend’ listing page of the SDGI website, indicating duration of ‘friendship’
- 'Friends’ may opt out of public acknowledgement if they prefer to remain anonymous
Conditions
- All incentives are subject to availability and will be organised to coincide with SDGI activities throughout the year
- A maximum number of invitations to either SDGI or industry event apply to all ‘Friends’
- The SDGI will not cover any expenses incurred for travelling to/from any SDGI or SDGI related industry events2 in the Republic of Ireland or elsewhere
- Mentoring activities and/or other Director contact activities will be subject to a maximum number of participants3
