    Goldfish Memory is an ensemble romantic comedy about relationships in Dublin - straight, gary and in-between.  The film won 16 awards in international film festivals and was nominated for 8 IFTAS.  It also received theatrical distribution in the USA, UK, Europe and South America.

Biography

Liz is currently directing Written Off, a 6-part documentary series for Animo TV and RTE1. She is also the Artistic Director of the micro-budget feature film initiative, The Catalyst Project.

Liz's most recent feature film Goldfish Memory received international theatrical distribution, including the US and UK, and won sixteen film festival awards. Her first feature as director was Gold in the Streets, starring James Belushi, Ian Hart and Aiden Gillen, produced by Noel Pearson (My Left Foot, Dancing at Lughnasa).

For television, Liz has directed blocks of dramas Hide and Seek (2006), The Clinic (2005), The Big Bow Wow (2003) and three episodes of the Wildfire Films documentary series Consuming Passions (2007-8). She also served as Consultant Director on Love is the Drug, winner of the IFTA for best television drama (2004).

Liz has directed two short films, Kiss of Death and Silence, and wrote and directed an Off-Off-Broadway play, A Woman's Place. Liz worked for many years as a First Assistant Director on feature films for directors such as Barry Levinson and Todd Haynes, among others, and before that as an assistant to Martin Scorsese and Harvey Weinstein.

Liz is currently in development on several feature projects.
